A Brief Biography

Before joining his first advertising agency, Tony began writing ads to sell business books he bought wholesale from publishers.

This led to a job offer at Ogilvy & Mather Direct in 1987, which was then the largest Direct Marketing agency network in the world.

His career took him to four of the top five direct marketing ad agencies in the UK, including EHS when it won Campaign Magazine's Best Direct Agency of the Year in 1997.

That same year he was the creative group head of the team that won Microsoft's Campaign of the Year for the launch of Office 97.

Prior to joining EHS, Tony freelanced as a copywriter for two and a half years serving both agencies and clients directly.

He has won several DMA awards including gold for broadcast media and gold for the international mailing category.

In 1998 he moved to Sydney and worked as a Creative Director at George Patterson Bates. He left at the end of 2002 and now lives with his wife and two children near Coffs Harbour.
